Installing Timbers

How you install Real Cedar timber all depends on where you install Real Cedar timber. In both indoor and outdoor applications, however, buying a recognized grade from one of our trusted WRCLA members is always the best way to start. Then you can get cracking on installing your wood with the confidence of knowing you’re working with just the right building material for your particular project.

And since Real Cedar is one of the easiest building materials to work with, there are only a few general installation guidelines to keep in mind. For example, using the right fastener is paramount, especially for outdoor projects. The wrong nail could wind up staining your beautiful timber. For more detailed information, please refer to our “riveting” section on outdoor installation fasteners.
